Friday 19th March to Sunday 21st March at New Lands
This three-day 'long weekend' is aimed especially at beginner students but also those at any level who feel challenged by the technical and calculation side of astrological study.
The workshop’s two main points of focus will be the hand calculations of the Beginners’ Course, and in conjunction with this, the use of astrological software, especially Solar Fire. So if you wish to 'fast track' your hand calculations and learn about using astrological software, this workshop is also very much for you! Time will also be provided for interpretation questions and answers.
Cost of long weekend from Thursday supper to Sunday pm: £160. Non-residential: £50.
Saturday 24th July to Thursday 29th July at New Lands
This ‘retreat-length’ workshop is aimed at astrology students working at any level except for complete beginners, and will cover many of the deeper aspects of natal horoscope interpretation. There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions, as well as tuition sessions. It will be particularly useful for those students just moving from beginner/intermediate to advanced level in their studies and will encourage all students to move forward more confidently in their work.
Cost for the workshop: £295, with a single room supplement (if the single room is requested) of £50. Non-residents: £120.
Saturday 31st July 11.00 am – 4.00 pm at the London Lodge
A day of non-technical astrology in which the ways in which planetary influences interact with each other will be explored. The day will culminate with understanding through a 'living horoscope'.
The day stands alone but is also a good follow-up for those who attended the 'Astrology without Tears' day in 2009. Like that day, it is especially aimed at those interested in astrology but who do not want or feel able to deal with a course of study.
All are welcome!
Cost of day: £10. Please bring vegetarian packed lunch.
The school’s on-going tuition is offered primarily through its three Correspondence Courses: Beginners, Preparatory and Advanced. The School’s special events in 2010 particularly aim to make an understanding of the basic principles of astrology, and its spiritual purpose more widely available. This supports the ‘reaching out’ aspiration of the Wisdom School.
The Astrology School’s correspondence courses are open to anyone and offer full tutorial support. They are APAE accredited. The Advanced Course leads to a Diploma. Please email for a full prospectus, or visit www.whiteagleastrology.org.
