Thursday eve. 16 to Sunday 19 February at New Lands.
This
three-day ‘long weekend’ is aimed mainly at beginner and elementary students who are tackling the early
stages of interpretation. Although it is self-contained, it also follows on from the weekend held in 2011 and
will take students on further steps forward to help refine their basic understanding. The weekend will offer
encouragement and support so that students can grow in confidence in their chart-reading abilities.
Open to all.
Cost for tuition: £105. Please click here for accommodation options.
An astrology day in the London Lodge with Simon Bentley On this day, the anniversary
of the birth of Grace Cooke (Minesta), who initiated the work of the White Eagle Lodge, we shall
look at the various astrological influences that ‘play upon’ and guide that work. We shall study
the various horoscopes most closely associated with the Lodge in a way that will be accessible
to those who consider themselves complete beginners in astrology, as well as those who know
more, combining insight and enjoyment!
Saturday (evening) 28 to Monday (lunchtime)
30 July (Workshop)
Tuesday 31 July to Thursday (lunchtime) 2 August (Conference)
at New Lands.
This year’s conference theme will be new to many astrology students – Draconic Astrology. While there is every
reason to suppose that this branch of astrology has been around for a long time, it is only in the last thirty or forty
years that it has been ‘revived’ for the modern age. Using a zodiac based on the nodes of the Moon (‘dragon’s head’
and ‘dragon’s tail’, hence the name ‘draconic’), it gives a deeper insight into the life at a soul level. We already teach
this subject in our advanced correspondence course, but this conference will be an opportunity for students at all
levels to become acquainted with its principles. The preceding workshop will be on the Moon’s Nodes, so that those
who feel they are not yet familiar with these important points can ‘brush up’ on them before the conference begins,
although the workshop also stands alone for those who wish to attend it separately.
Cost of workshop £55. Cost of conference £90. Please click here for accommodation options.
The school’s on-going tuition is offered primarily through its three Correspondence Courses: Beginners, Preparatory and Advanced. The School’s special events in 2011 particularly aim to make an understanding of the basic principles of astrology, and its spiritual purpose more widely available. This supports the ‘reaching out’ aspiration of the Wisdom School.
The Astrology School’s correspondence courses are open to anyone and offer full tutorial support. They are APAE accredited. The Advanced Course leads to a Diploma. Please email for a full prospectus, or visit The White Eagle School of Astrology website
