‘Bridge to the World of Light’:10.30 am to 1.00 pm
A Summer Festival Retreat Morning for members and their families led by Jenny Dent, our Lodge Mother, with Colum Hayward and Simon Bentley. Our Spiritual Grandmother’s passing to the inner world in September 2011, and other dedicated brothers during the year, has strengthened the bridge between the two worlds and offered the opportunity of deeper understanding about this whole area of our Wisdom School work. How can we all become more aware of our guides and loved ones in the inner world? Jenny and Colum will talk on this, and Simon will complete the morning with a talk entitled ‘The Temple as a Bridge: an astrological look at this building where the two worlds meet’.
This Retreat morning forms part of our Anniversary Day at the Temple. There is no charge for the morning and you are most welcome to bring a packed lunch and stay on for the Temple Anniversary Service which is, of course, open to everyone. This will begin at the earlier time of3.00pm and refreshments will be available afterwards to enjoy before your journey home. We hope the day will be relaxing and uplifting—a time to be together as a ‘family’ in White Eagle’s home.
We once again open White Eagle’s home at New Lands to everyone, including first-time visitors, for a relaxed and creative day linking with the United Nations Day of Peace. Activities will include sacred dance, writing our own peace messages, indigenous music, chanting for peace, and a special star meditation for peace at 12 noon. There are special children’s activities—families feel at home!
Everyone is welcome to this community day at the Temple, including groups and parties. There is no charge. Donations in aid of White Eagle’s worldwide work of Brotherhood.Open to all.
We all need time to discover and work with our spiritual self; time to notice, observe and reflect and become aware of the value of every experience and the enrichment this brings to our spiritual development. The purpose of this day is to work in ways that will deepen our conscious awareness. We will be working with our senses, our creativity, our inner, innate wisdom and God’s world. Our work will be supported by White Eagle’s wonderful words. Cost: £10, includes tea and soft drinks, but please bring your own vegetarian packed lunch.Open to all.
