Verity, New Lands cook and housekeeper has kindly agreed to run another weekend which will bring a feeling of seasonal warmth in winter days! Come and learn how to make some of the delicious recipes you may have enjoyed at New Lands, and try out both gourmet and everyday vegetarian and vegan dishes. There will be lots of hands-on work, and very little just watching, and so numbers are limited to 8 places only. An information sheet will be sent in response to your application telling you what to bring and asking for any particular recipes or help you would like.
All ingredients will be provided.
We need to have your application for this weekend by 24th January at the latest.
Please email for further details or to book.
The cost is £75 for the course, plus accommodation. Please click here for accommodation options.
You are invited to spend Easter weekend at New Lands exploring your creativity in a safe and inspiring environment. At this festival time there is a great outpouring of the Light and we can attune to this Light once again to bring beauty to the world. The high point will be the celebration of the Easter festival in the Temple on the Sunday.
Please email for further details or to book.
Cost of weekend, including full board and accommodation £150, Friday supper to Sunday teatime.
Friday evening 30th April to Monday morning 3rd May
For this relaxing but upbeat weekend there will again be the option either to stay in New Lands house, or to camp on the hilltop behind the Temple. Meals are simple buffet style. The theme we explore together is how to create a balance between the demands – and the exhilaration—of our outer life and our inward spiritual attunement. Everyone who has been on the weekend in previous years agrees that this is a challenge we all face, in different forms. The weekend will include both extrovert activity and times of meditation. It is open to anyone from the age of 16 upwards—older teenagers and young adults particularly welcome, and it is not necessary to be a member.
Please email for further details or to book.
The cost of this long weekend has been deliberately set as economically as possible: £110 if you are staying at New Lands house and £60 if you are camping. This price includes all meals and a professionally led drumming workshop. Maximum numbers 25.
Friday evening 29th October to Sunday pm 31st October
Built on the experience of a similar retreat/workshop in 2009, our re-focused programme this weekend centres on the areas of White Eagle’s teachings on the principles of love, harmony and service. We explore how these can be applied in a grounded and creative way in our particular workplace environments, bringing together the experience of spiritual practice, and experience in the structured world of work and training. There will be time for reflection, meditation, discussion and assistance in applying both left and right brain thinking!
If this weekend sounds appealing but you would like more information, please write to or email Jeremy Hayward at for an information sheet and further details.
A CPD certificate of attendance can be provided after this course.
Cost of weekend residential workshop, including full board Friday evening to Sunday tea time is £150.
