Doris Powell started the work in Bury St. Edmunds in 1966,
followed by the formation of an Ipswich Group, under the
leadership of John Kemp. Ten years later, on 8th November
1976, the two groups were amalgamated to become the Ipswich
Daughter Lodge. The present leaders are Kate Woodward
and Sylvia Robinson.
The Daughter Lodge is opposite Christchurch Park with
its beautiful arboretum and Tudor mansion.
