In South Africa we had very small beginnings. The work was started in 1939 by George and Rita Williamson. They worked quietly on their own and became well-known in spiritual circles for the 'Rescue' work they did during the war years.

Betty and David Smith were introduced to White Eagle's teachings by the Williamsons, and Betty soon became proficient in both Absent and Contact healing. After meeting in various venues, the present sanctuary in Maybelle's home in Green Point, was dedicated in March 1991. From here they are in touch with all the groups in the country and also other countries on the continent.

2nd & 3rd Sunday of each month - 10:00am Tuesdays - 2:30pm

The focus for Johannesburg was held for many years by Olive Church, and there are now two healing/meditation groups there. There is also a long-standing group in Durban.
