Visiting New Lands Estate
New Lands, Brewells Lane, Liss, Hampshire. GU33 7HY
The temple at New Lands is being replaced. (More information). The final service in the temple will be the Christmas Carol service at 3pm on Sunday 15th December. The final event will be the Midnight Meditation on 24th December. In the new year all events and services will take place in the chapel in New Lands house. There will be one Sunday Service per month on the 4th Sunday of most months, however there will be no 'Next Steps' meditations and no Family Services. Please see the calendar or the Events Brochure for more details.
Until the Christmas Carol service, we continue to welcome visitors between 2.30pm and 5.00pm (or dusk) from Monday to Thursday, and when services are in progress. If the temple is locked, please contact the office at New Lands: walk through the car park and along the drive at the far end, past the front of New Lands house – the offices are just beyond the house, near the road.
If you wish to visit at any other time contact the office Mon-Frid 9.30am to 4.30pm to make an appointment.
All are welcome to the Sunday services (2nd and 4th Sundays at 11.15am), 'Next Steps' Meditation (3rd Sundays at 11.15am) and Peace meditations (7pm on the 1st Wed each month). There are some months when there are no public services. View the calendar (right) for further details.
Healing services are also open to all, and at the healing service you are welcome either as a patient or simply to sit in the healing atmosphere. These take place on Monday and Thursday at 2.30pm and on Tuesday at 7pm. (Healing is offered free of charge. Visit the healing page for details.)
The estate comprises twenty-five acres of grounds with woodlands, meditation gardens, open areas and formal gardens. The Temple, New Lands retreat house and New Lands offices (the centre for the worldwide work) are set within these grounds.
There are several short and longer walks around the estate, including the Jubilee walk and the Cross within the Circle meditation walk. We have benches all around for you to sit. All are welcome to come and enjoy the peace and listen to the sounds of nature.
We have a range of single and twin-bed rooms. All rooms have hand basins and the bathrooms and toilets are nearby. Each room has its own individual feeling, with lovely views across the gardens and estate.
