The White Eagle Lodge is currently looking for trustees to complement and strengthen our existing Board.

Membership of the Board of Trustees involves a considerable commitment as well as substantial skills and experience in order to contribute actively to the Lodge’s strategic development. Trustees are also directors of the company, with legal responsibilities for governance and financial stewardship. Our trustees are key to ensuring we continue to remain a viable organisation and stay on track to deliver our charitable objectives.

We are keen to hear from people from a variety of backgrounds but specifically candidates with strengths in: business management, marketing, fundraising or finance and investment portfolio management.

Interested applicants should be able to demonstrate strong competencies in their individual field of expertise, a genuine empathy for the ethos of the White Eagle Teachings and support for the charity’s overall aims and objectives.

Personal gravitas, excellent interpersonal skills and your ability to collaborate effectively will be key, and you must be able to demonstrate a track record of sound judgment and effective decision making.

The role of the trustee is a rewarding one. We meet 3-4 times per year (3-4 days on each occasion) at New Lands, Hampshire and liaise by phone and email on a regular basis between meetings.

Trustees are unpaid, although reasonable travel expenses are reimbursed.

For an informal discussion please contact Jason Wilson (trustee) on 01626 439045.

To express your interest, please send a CV and covering letter to Kate Oliver, Secretary to the Trustees (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ) explaining why you are interested in the position and highlighting the key expertise you feel you will bring.
